Boston

Sorry, I’ve been absent lately. Currently, I’m in Boston visiting family. Last week was jam packed with getting ready to go and this week has been a whirlwind of people and fun. In case you’ve missed me, I’ve compiled a list of my favorite Boston movies that I like to watch when I am homesick, so you can get a movie Boston experience too. It will be like you’re here with me and you’ll get to hang out with Matt and Ben too. Sometimes you just need to see pretty foliage and hear people drop their R’s, okay?

Good Will Hunting (1997)

This film is amazing.  It’s my main go too when I’m feeling homesick. Also, check this out.

Fever Pitch (2005)

Because Fenway is magical & the fans are really that intense.

The Departed (2006)

Ugh. This movie is great for so many reasons.

Black Mass (2015)

Whitey Bulger monopolized the news in the summer of 2011. This movie is great and the first decent role Johnny Depp has had in a long time.

The Town (2010)

Because the accent is so real.

Spotlight (2015)

Because this movie is important. You should watch it anyways.

Gone Baby Gone (2007)

gone baby gone

A movie written by an Affleck, directed by an Affleck and starring and Affleck, which takes place in Boston. It doesn’t get more Boston than that.

Honorable mentions: Television shows Crossing Jordan, Rizzoli and Isles and any comedy special by Bill Burr.

I love that dirty water, but I’ll be back with my regular posts, when I get back to LA on Monday. If you have any wicked good Boston movies, feel free to tell me about them in the comments.
